Regarding the mom that Jamie posted about:  I would think that since the 
pituitary is such an essential part of the lactation process, secreting prolactin 
and oxytocin, the history you describe may be problematic. Case in point, no 
breast changes and no colostrum leakage (while that in itself is not such a red 
flag as the surgical removal of the tumor and possible damage to the 
pituitary.  Check the latest Lawrence and/or Riordan for a description of the 
necessity of a functioning pituitary.
