I had a client who had a similar "lump" with similar history.  She had the
assuring check with a breast cancer specialist, who said that it wasn't of
concern in that regard.  Then I recommended that she see an occupational
therapist, who is trained in several types of massage.  When the mom got up
from the table, the area began to drain, and continued to do so for several
days until full resolution.  Each feeding found more relief.

I think that it began with a simple plugged duct but, for some reason, it
didn't resolve as usual. Maybe there was some structural blockage from
trauma.  She didn't have a recurrance of the problem.
