I just had to quote this term to see it again: infant guided feedings. I
think it is a term we should add to our lexicons. Infant guided is even
better than cue-based, IMHO, since the baby may or may not be giving
effective cues (s/he may be jaundiced and sleeping or refusing the
breast) and guided is just right, rather than squabbling over the
whose-breast-is-it-and-who's-on-first of mother-led and baby-led. It all
fits nicely into a concept of mother-baby relations that I love.

I don't care if it is late... this has to be said. And if I find it
already has been, well, it had to be said again. I will be saying it
often, I know. :-)
