I have only had one negative run-in with a Leader, and that was a fellow
Leader who laid in to me because I was not willing to preach about her pet
cause.

I have, however, known a number of women who weren't Leaders, but were LLL
members, who said really hurtful things to other moms in the formula aisle
in the grocery store when trying to convince them how good breastfeeding
was.  I'm sure they were doing the best they knew how, and they didn't mean
to misrepresent LLL, but when they reported these conversations to me, I was
just shocked.
