Thanks, I have read the ABM protocols. Since the hospital where I work recommends formula supplementation in most cases of low blood sugars, I am asking if there is any evidence that larger amounts of formula supplementation lower blood sugars more readily than physiologically normal amounts of colostrum or formula. After babies are fed the amounts currently ordered by the docs, they have little interest in breastfeeding. Obviously, we have a long way to go.
