I'd like to point out an opportunity that is sort of local all over the US.
Your LLL Area Council usually puts on an educational event annually.  CERPs
are usually offered at these meetings.  They are brief and tend to be less
expensive that a whole big conf.

I know because I am presently working on CERPs for our NJ conf this spring
April 16 & 17.  One of our featured speakers will be Diane Wiessinger!  I'm
really looking forward to it.

It isn't a formal conference because there are tons of babies and toddlers
attending, dads and siblings too.  So if you must have absolute quiet, a LLL
