Most kids do this at sometime or other.  Heals fast.  Good old saline
rinses may help.  (1 cup water, 1/2 tsp salt)  If he is young (like between
one and two)  he might find it real uncomfortable to nurse for a little
while, but it shouldn't be a major problem.  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
