was horrified to see that her
baby had died. She was quoted as saying that she was so shocked by what she
saw, that she had to first light up a cigarette and then notified the
authorities".

Peter Fleming's research has shown that sleeping with baby on a sofa, and
smoking, are two significant risk factors in crib death, while the
combination of these two factors further increases the risk.
It would be important that these two risk factors are mentioned in the
magazine article.
