Thanks for the before-retiring smile... I'm sure it was its own brand  of 
enlightening for my friends and family to see me following a path of  attachment 
parenting and years-long breastfeeding relationships. This is the  story of 
me, who when I announced I was getting married one friend said that was  the 
funniest thing they had heard all year, and who in college was known as  "Flash" 
the nerdy air-head who couldn't cook to save her life...:) So much for  good 
attachment potential, and earthiness as a requirement! Yay, variety and the  
triumph of instinct,trust,mother-to-mother support and information!
