Margaret, I love your sarcasm... I had never even considered that angle...
that the little boy may have been scarred from actually breastfeeding,
himself (so much more involved than just looking!)

Thought I'd share... we were at a family get-together a couple of days ago
and my sister-in-law was seen feeding her baby a bottle of formula.  My wise
little five year old SON asked me, "Mommy, how come aunt S. is feeding her
baby a bottle?  How come he doesn't get to have milk from her breasts?"  He
was seriously perplexed by this.  He had watched me nurse his own brother
for 2.5 years and has seen others breastfeeding as well.  He knows breast
milk is best!
