Good Evening to All,

I was having a discussion with a friend who works for me in my breastfeeding
store about what qualifications were needed to be to give breastfeeding
help. I am IBCLC, she is not. Because she does not have a college degree,
she will not qualify to sit the exam for a long time. She is, however, a
LLL leader (this is NEVER communicated in the store). We were talking about
her getting a Certified Lactation Educator certification and helping moms in
much the same way Physician Assistants work with Physicians.

Has anyone ever done this? How does it work? How is liability covered?
How are services charged? How are reports to physicians sent?

Any thoughts?
