Diana,
I completely disagree with this statement--it does not take solid foods to create an antigen reaction in an infant. As a matter of fact, it was explained to me that babies can be born with the antigen to a particular protein, having been exposed in utero. As I wrote about my own child, he had only a soy allergy--no other difficulties of any kind were ever exhibited--he was not being stressed by anything except my  foolish over-consumption of soy.
