Yay, Kim! Welcome to Lacnet (via Israel). I am so excited about
this wonderful research being done that I can't wait to see it.
Hurry, huh?huh? Medical interventions during pregnancy, labor and
delivery is one of my many hangups (in this present media, read
soapboxes). Problem is that there is so very little research done
on the outcomes of all this meddling in what should usually be
left alone. My daughter has just begun nursing school and wants
to continue into midwifery. She (already) gets this fanatical
light in her eyes when you say "homebirth".
Isn't it wonderful how we brainwash our kids? Last night, my two
oldest (22 and 19) who think that they're very clever, after
hearing the suggestion to call lactnet the Milky Way (I LOVED it,
Roberta!), suggested instead Lac Magic. Why do I get the feeling
they'd like to burn me at the stake? Looking forward to hearing
lots from Roberta and Kim on the net. Judy Knopf
