Any advice for this mom/baby.? Baby is healthy thriving 2 month olds

"She latches on swallows a couple of times, and comes off all but
the nipple, chomps and then snaps her head back. Repeatedly. She's been
doing this on and off for a while, but she was good at night. These past
few days, it's getting worse, even at night, and I'm sore. I'm tired of her
antics all the time. Yesterday afternoon was a real pain, literally and
figuratively.
I think its partly because she's a bit spoiled. Usually letdown happens
pretty immediately, but if it doesn't she does more of the above, I get
tense, no letdown, vicious circle.
I'm going to assume it's just another phase which had better pass soon."

I suggested breast compression which mom has tried with little success. I
also suggested, if possible, breast massage before feeds , keeping the baby
in close during feeds and taking her off then relatching if she does the
offending behavior.
Thanks,
Rob
