I have a rider on my homeowner's insurance policy to cover my rental
business. It is "slip and fall" insurance. However, when I first called
about this, and inquired of my policy (at the time, Met ..the Snoopy
one)....I called to inquire, and I soon after received a CANCELLATION
notice of my homeowner's insurance.

I should have called the insurance commissioner but was very inexperienced.
I now know that they had no reason to cancel me with just one phonecall
question. I had never even made a claim, to my knowledge.
