I'm working backwards this morning, but this was a great post. I think
it is important to give good developmental information to mothers,
especially concerning what happens past the crucial first 6 weeks, after
which less information seems to be available. But could you please
elaborate on the one I've quoted? In our region, in which there were
many large (Irish, French and Aboriginal) families in the 60s and 70s,
as well as many more typical, smaller families, I find *more*
grandmother support among those who had raised larger families. I'm
always interested in this kind of demographic quirk.
