Heather, this has been discussed quite a lot amongst breastfeeding
advocates in Australia because of the newspaper reports and the general
opinion seems to be that it is indeed cow's colostrum. You can buy it in
tablet form I believe. None of the reports actually say it is *human*
colostrum - it just seems to be implied in the way it is sensationalised in
the stories. But then, why would a newspaper reporter want the facts to get
in the way of a good story???? ;-^ (I am not very good with these emoticons
- I was trying to get a 'tongue-in-cheek'!)
