I know the archive discussions say there's no reason not to eat sushi when
pregnant or nursing.  But isn't this a sweeping generalization?  Not being
a fish eater myself, I still know enough about sushi to know that there is
sushi and then there is sushi.  In other words, not all sushi is created
equal.  I wouldn't eat sushi made from raw fish if I had a young child
(nursing or not) simply because of the risk of getting food poisoning from
raw fish.  I also wouldn't eat raw eggs (as in an eggnog, or raw cookie
dough).  A mother of an infant or young child doesn't need to be puking her
guts out from food poisoning.
