Yes, but it is one on one teaching, not group teaching. It's more on-point teachig that that mother's needs.
No need to teach the breastfeeding moms - they don't need the info - and it gives them the idea that it's an approved manner to feed baby if the hospital teaches it to everyone.

BTW: the FDA's advice on how to prepare powdered formula now matches the UNICEF (or is it the WHO?) guidebook re: boiling the water, cooling to 70C, mixing, then cooling to body temp and feed. Prep one bottle at a time. If you buy water bottled for making formula they say you still must bring it to a boil just like tap water. When reading instructions on the can it says to ask your doctor if you need to boil the water or not.

I found this in the archives. At the hospital where I work alot of our patients feed both breast and bottle (Los dos).
According to BFHI we need to teach and provide our patients that chose to feed both how to safely formula feed, is this you understanding? Because this is my understanding.
