Just a thought Pepcid 10mg (1/2 prescription dose) tablets just came on the
market otc for heartburn.

According to Dr Hale's book pepcid (famotidine) might be a better
alternative to zantac & tagamet. Maybe at the lower otc dose it may be worth
a try. Be aware there is the standard CYB weigh benefits against risks
statement for nursing mothers. It does cross into milk but in much lower
levels than the others

Stress can set off severe heart burn - ulcer like painful attacks with no
true ulcers showing up. (trust me on this I've been a victim of this -
especially when the office phone rings during dinner).

Keep us up dated on her progress
