What I didn't say was that this young woman had seen her Gp several times in
the last few months and had been prescribed various noxious treatments for
varicose veins, heartburn, weight gain etc, etc. This Dr came in just after
the birth and said ' well you were pregnant when I saw you in January
afterall!!!' And this same Dr complains bitterly that the midwives 'dont
allow' her to have enough involvement in the antenatal care of 'her'
patients (our clients). While the birth was happening she and all the other
Drs disappeared completely, funny that...
