Gee, this one is a toss up: NICU baby's need for breast milk vs OB's need to 
be sure mom won't get pg again too soon.
Unfortunately I think mom's wishes, when it is all explained (milk supply vs 
possible pg) to her trumps OB's need. I just don't think it is OB's decision 
to   make.  And I don't think OB needs to be one explaining all this to mom, 
OB is kinda biased.  PS: was this mom's pg unplanned?  and in N.J. there are 
places that give free or low cost contraceptives.  Not sure about other 
states, but worth checking out. Pat in SNJ
