Dear friends,

I seem to be in a mode that does not allow for proper search techniques, so I turn to your collective wisdom. I am looking for references towards research about the effect of oxytocin as labour induction on fluid metabolism in the woman and her to-be-born child and how that applies to breastfeeding prognosis. The second part of research I need is about the effect of drinking loads of water on milkproduction. I can recall havig read some research  (somewhere in the Stone Age I guess) that excessive drinking can decrease milkproduction, but I can't find that back.
I do not need the discussion about thes topics, but the research.

Warmly,

Gonneke, IBCLC in PP, LC lecturer in steamy southern Netherlands
