One mg of vitamin K at birth, IM, is plenty to protect the babies against
bleeding. I am surprised that in Norway babies are given so much. It is
unnecessary. Maybe there is no problem in Norway, but here in Canada, that
would be interpreted as "breastmilk is incomplete" just as the vitamin D
story is interpreted as that, and used by formula companies to sell vitamin
D (which they conveniently also make).
