I recently recieved a letter from one of the abm companies (R---- I think)
with statistics and graphs implying that supplementing with formula is
associated with breast feeding past 6 months.  I was a little p.o.ed so I
filed it in my circular file before I analyzed the study for faults. I assume
that most of the pediatricians in the country got the same letter.

Just think, my 3 year old hasn't weaned yet because of the bottles of abm she
got when the freezer ran out of the pumped stuff. If she had a few more
bottles , I wouldn't be able to wean until junior high.
