Citrus Punch

Thank you for all responses ref  premie with "lactose intolerance".The IBCLC in the NICU spoke with the neonatologist and he finally agreed to feed baby hindmilk feeds but insisted on adding the human milk fortifier as he feels the baby must have added calcium and phosphorus supplements added to the EBM.  He doesn't want the baby put to breast as it won't be able to receive the HMF.  ( eventhough the adjusted age is 35 wk and gains 1/2 per day on average) I had heard of some spoon feeding a small amt of EBM with fortifier prior to breastfeeding for same results. Anyone have experience with this approach?
