Kathleen,

I have my Lactnet set for "mail" instead of "digest". Although I've been
"nomail" for a couple of weeks, I don't seem to be having any problems
receiving Lactnet mail this way (that is, no "downloads" needed). I also
find that my mailbox is big enough to hold 2-3 days of postings without
rejecting mail, so maybe this would be an option for other AOL users.

I find the "mail" setting more convenient for printing up or filing letters.
And when the subject line is specific about the topic, it makes it easier
for me to prioritize which letters I want to read.

Hope this helps others!

Carol (in GORGEOUS, sunny, NONHUMID St. Louis--for once!)
