I just heard on the radio a research reported in NEJM that found that
many of the toxins in cigarettes come through breastmilk, so that
breastfed babies of smokers are doubly exposed, through breathing second
a
hand smoke and through toxins coming through the breastmilk. Of course,
on the news the reporter said that smokers shoulnd't breastfeed, rather than
saying that breastfeeders shouldn't smoke!
Ayone know any more aobut this?
