dear stacy and all,

it depends on the individual milk bank as to whether or not they need donors
at any given time. for instance, right now in denver we are not taking new
donors, but that could change at any time. it mostly depends on the capacity
to store milk and the demand for it. you all need to encourage mothers to call
if you think they could benefit from using donor milk. also remember that
financial aid is available, and there even may be an insurance company left
out there somewhere that would cover the cost as well. also, you can call any
milk bank; if they need milk, they would probably consider paying the
shipping. it doesn't have to be the one closest to you.
