What I try and do in these circumstances is keep the yeast down to a dull
roar with periodic GV or regulas use of nilstat drops and cream and then
clean both mom & baby up real well when antibiotics are finished with
diflucan.  As long as antibiotics are going in, yeast will be popping out!
If she is a microbiologist she probably understands this.  I've been helped
by a book called Sinus Survival (Rev) 1992 by Robert S. Ivker.  You can't
just take antibiotics endlessly for sinus inf.  Have to be pre-emptive.
