this reminded me of the pamphlet i looked at that came with the free box of
formula left on my porch w/ each birth of my babies. you know, the one showing
the harried, haggard, saggy faced bfing mom sitting in a disarranged robe on a
straightbacked wooden chair slumped over at a terrible angle nursing a
scrunchy faced, bunched up ball of an infant? sure, you r/m! it was placed right
next to the smartly dressed, brightly smiling and neatly coiffed mom feeding her
baby a bottle on a bright sunny day lounging on a luxurious couch and cradling
her infant lovingly! i laughed out loud in my pajamas in the middle of the
day 2 mos after my baby was born with my tousled hair and puffy face and all!
even then i wondered how many nannies took shifts while the mom in the pic got
all spiffed up and prepared the bottles...i mean, how could she spend time
nurturing new infant and still do all that? :::still hasn't figured this one out
as i nurse my 2 yo at keyboard w/ puffy brow furrowed and tangled hair
bristling in outrage:::   :-)
