Mother of 5 month old who is now nursing 2-3/day wants advice whether she
can safely take Hydroxyzine 2X day for severe dermatitis (some areas are raw
and bleeding).  She has previously been on Prednisone 20my/day when minimal
improvement.  I have consulted Dr. Hale's book (1994) and related that she
would have to watch for sedation in baby.  Briggs lists no information r/t
breastfeeding.  There doesn't seem to be a AAP rating in Lawrence for this
particular psychotropic/antihistamine drug.  Any one (1100+) have experience
with this drug during breastfeeding?  Mother doesn't want to wean
(dermatologist would rather wait to treat /p weaning) but she is miserable.
