HI All,

Thanks to everyone who has sent information so far. The biggest question by
mom was if the gallbladder is out how will that affect her breastfeeding.
Her Drs have been less than forthcoming about her nutrition needs after the
surgery. So she is concerned that she will be on the same dietary
restrictions as she is now. As long as she can go ahead and eat what she
needs to (good fats) and there will be no harm to her body without the
gallbladder, then she will be fine and will have the surgery. If she can't
then she really needs to know how to eat a healthy diet. Her milk supply
has always been fragile (requiring domperidone to maintain) and is sensitive
to the way she eats. If she doesn't eat enough food (she has a very healthy
diet) her supply drops dramatically.

If there are any other thoughts or comments on the diet part those will also
be appreciated. :-)

Warmly,
Jaye
