Medicaid covers reimbursement for pumps for mother's whose infants are
hospitalized and Lactation Consults in MA.  I wish more insurance
companies would follow this policy for consults.  Some people need a
consult, but just can't afford it.  Blue Cross Blue Shield won't even
cover the cost of rental of a pump for a NICU baby never mind a consult.
Sad, but true.
I haven't tried to get reimbursed through Cigna, although I understand
they are now covering LC consults.
