I just wanted to share that I took my daughter to her 4mos check up the
other day. The doctor asked if she was exclusively bf, upon my saying yes
she then proceeded to tell me that Sariah(my daughter) needed Vit D to
prevent rickets. The AAP said this she told me. She asked what I thought and
I told her that I didn't agree with what she had said, she laughed and said
that she could tell by the look on my face, then proceeded to say under her
breath that sunlight would suffice. I remembered all of you here on lactnet
as I listened to the doctor and cringed. So thank you for all of your
discussions and facts, they help me to be a better mother and helper to
other mothers.
