I hope this is okay to post. America On-Line has a newsletter of sorts
called "Better Health & Medical Network. They recently published (to AOL
Members) a bit of information on Iron and infants. Nowhere in this did they
mention breastfeeding and Iron amounts. So, of course I had to write
something about sponsorships and the truth. This is the reply (I sent them
ILCA info….any other suggestions? For those on AOL, the address is: HRS
Update or keyword Better Health.
Hi, JRamsey135.
Thank you for your message -- and for your participation in the Better Health
& Medical Network on AOL. We always welcome your comments, questions and
suggestions.
In response to your concern, our news digests are often taken from current
medical journals and press releases from medical universities; and our
newsletter is not sponsored by any advertisers. It is our intention to
provide the most balanced information available to help others make informed
decisions about their health care.
We would love to include some information about the benefits of breast
feeding. Do you know of a current association that we can refer to to locate
information?
Thank you.
For Better Health,
Mary
