I have a mom who is barely 5 foot tall who has a low milk supply (we're
working on increasing that) but in the meantime thought an SNS would be
the easy answer to bf'ing, pumping and feeding supplemental ABM. She
says she has not had good luck with the SNS because the baby flips the
bottle up with her hands or her feet and the bottle flies one way, and
the tubing comes loose, etc. It's too much trouble to keep reattaching
the whole thing. What would you suggest? She's tried the bottle over
her shoulder, but flow is too easy. She also has almost a whole leg
brace from polio, so things to cut down on her having to get up and do
"stuff" is the goal.

Thanks for your input,
Pat Bucknell, IBCLC
