In my round about (and ever learning way) I am envisioning that due to the
increase in progesterone (much like that in pregnancy) might be the culprit.

I deduce this on the fact that, many women experience a decrease in supply
if they are nursing when pregnant (such as I experienced, not that that kept
my little one away from the boob), and in pregnancy the progesterone levels
are higher.  I also sense that this also stems into the fact that
progesterone OCs will also decrease milk supply. So it really makes sense
that a decrease in supply MAY be experienced by SOME when their cycles
return.
