 From the years (30 years ago now?) before we had decent evidence to 
show that self-regulation of the baby's time and frequency on the 
breast was more likely to lead to bf success.

It seems extraordinary that someone who proclaims some sort of 
expertise could be telling mothers something this far out of date : (
