Hi there. I would suggest to the Dutch mother that she be evaluated for
either bacterial or fungal infection. I suggest that you read Jack Newman
MD's sheets on breast pain and APNO, All purpose nipple ointment. There are
many things this pain could originate from. First, fix the latch, the lower
lip not being "right." Then, if that does not work, you move on to other
ideas. APNO ointment works well for bacterial or fungal infection
topically. Also, there is Gentian Violet. Please see Jack's work. It is
