Here's one to add.  With my 3rd baby (I was already a LC) I had horrid sore
nipples.  At first I thought it was my fault because of the pain meds for a
C/S so I had them turn it off.  She was clamping so much that I told my
husband to bring an SNS to see if I could get her mouth to relax (nothing else
worked).  I remember telling him "If I didn't know better, I'd think she was
delivered with a vacuum extractor."
Fortunately my milk came and the problem resolved.
Two weeks later I got the photos back that the nurses had taken for me in the
operating room.  Guess what... Ariel WAS delivered with a vacuum extractor and
I have the pictures to prove it.
