Thanks, Anne, for pointing out the article.  I'm
thrilled to see the issue discussed in the Times.  For
anyone who missed Anne's post I'm repeating the URL:

It helps tremendously to see breastfeeding issues
discussed outside of the usual circles of mothers and
breastfeeding advocates.  The issue is bigger than us,
and it makes a huge difference to hear new voices in
new arenas of public scrutiny.

This would be a great article to email colleagues and
acquaintances who just don't get what the fuss is
about.

I was once told "by a professional" that my own voice
was suspect as I was too close to the subject:  I
actually nursed my own daughter.
