Marie, I wonder if the Rescue Remedy that someone on this list mentions would
have helped this mother?  One of the things that I often use is have moms
count to 40 while they try to get their babies latched on, this has them
concentrating on counting and gets them to relax long enough for the baby to
latch on.  I will certainly try the "hand-up" approach if I ever need it.

I also agree that it depends on the situation.
