Nope. The above was not my post. I rarely, if ever, use "nursing" to mean
"breastfeeding." I think it's just one of those things that keeps
breastfeeding in the closet.

Lisa, I totally agree, and I've wildly campaigned to not use the word
"nursing" in a professional context when the word "breastfeeding" is more
accurate. When you're talking to moms, it may be okay sometimes. But I
remember once I got an e-mail titled, "Legislation for Nursing" and, of
course, I thought it would pertain to my RN license. I had to read half of
the post before I realized that it was talking about breastfeeding.

All the more reason to use the word breastfeeding when we mean breastfeeding!

It's a language thing, but it's more than that. Breastfeeding is never
going to be part of the cultural norm here in America until we start saying
the word BREAST out loud!!!
