I am sure this topic has previously been addressed, but have been unable to locate in the archives... I have a mom 3 weeks postpartum with an overabundant supply that has her ready to wean. she is constantly leaking, unable to leave the house w/ out leaking thru 2 pads, bra, etc. she state she was unable to nurse the first child d/t her engorgement, (states he was unable to latch) and pumped and bottled for three months w/ him. She is pleased the the new baby is so well fed, but feels unable to cope w/ the inconvenience of the leaking. She is currently using a (V) fingerhold at the nipple to decrease the let down, using one breast per feed, we have discussed cabbage leaves, but I am concerned about the listeria association w/ this method. any info would be greatly appreciated.
