I established an email list for my "Women and Culture" class. We are just
starting to discuss breastfeeding in earnest, though I've brought it up
almost every lecture already! One of the students posted this interesting
query to the list just now -- does anyone know the answers? She means
"areola" of course, not alveoli. Please respond by private email as well as
to the list -- all ye who have seen many many more breasts than I have.
