Hello All
I have been working on several projects where we are looking at postal
surveying the duration of exclusive breastfeeding of babies. It seems a
rather difficult question to structure so that mothers will give the
response we require e.g. if you ask a mother how long she breastfed for, she
will give the total duration. If you ask her when other fluids were
introduced, you need to be rather more specific i.e. how much other fluid
constitutes the end of exclusive breastfeeding? What about the pre-term baby
who was given some formula initially but is now fully breastfeeding? What do
you class the preterm baby who received fortified breastmilk? Help!
