Mom might offer water by bottle or cup rather than juice.  This might increase
baby's motivation to breastfeed.  Another helpful hint it to have the mom lay
down in a quiet room with the baby skin to skin, and let the baby latch on if
she decides to.  Often they do after a day or two of extra cuddling and
attention.
