Lactnetters may feel hopeful to know that the president-elect of AWHONN for
1999 is an IBCLC, and she was active in creating a lactation services center
at a local hospital and active as the chairperson of a local breastfeeding
coalition group, among many other perinatal accomplishments. The current
editor of an AWHONN publication "Lifelines" is also an IBCLC and has done
extensive publication in the lactation field. "Lifelines" was recently
actively soliciting for articles to be submitted for publication;
