Congrats!! I agree with Tammy about the PCOS. Have you got Diane's book Making More Milk. It is a great resource. Both Lawrence and Newman have information on dromperidone use and Diane has other galactogues (goat's rue) etc. It would be helpful since she is where she is....(we have talked before) to have the doctor do a thyroid check and/or confirm a hx of PCOS. Have you had her watch Dr. Morton's hands on pumping clip (you can watch it from the stanford website). We tell our mommies in our nicu to pump 10 times a day. That has really helped. We tell them not to get hung up on every 2 hours or every 3 but to take the times going to nicu then pump seven more times (is she pumping after feeding baby in nicu). They can fit it better into their schedules. Was she a c section? Some mom's have delayed lactogenesis from the surgical birth.
